Folk Festival - Merchandise & Artists Sales
Visit our merchandise tent which is next to the food tent for Tee-Shirts, Sweat Shirts, Programmes, Caps, Mugs and more.
You will also find Artists CD’s and their own mechandise sold here plus they are mostly around after their performance to sign autographs.                          

The Folk Festival Beer Tent
Our festival bar with lots of outdoor seating that overlooks the stage is the hub where you can catch up with friends and chat over a pint of real ale or Somerset Cider. We also do lager and wine as well as soft drinks.

Our main supplier is Wadworth with their classics such as 6X and Horizon and more as well as the very local Downton Brewery serving Honey Blonde, New Forest ale and festival favourite New forest folk festival ale - virtually hangover free, or so we are told……

Expect some great things from JJ's cider. The firm favourite is rhubarb and you will be happy to hear that we have increased our order so hopefully you won't drink us dry again.

CHILDRENS AREA

Here you will find various things going on to entertain the children including World Life’s Exotic creature encounters. Anything new for 2024 will be added here.

John Row Storyteller
John is a familiar figure at festivals from East Anglia to Texas. He looks after the storytelling tent on the Kids Field at Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival plus Cropredy and much more.
His repertoire includes wonder tales like ‘Grandfather All Know’, ‘Mossycoat’, ‘Kate Crackernuts’ and ‘The Golden Ram’ as well as humorous children’s stories like ‘Lazy Jack’ and ‘The Old Woman and the Pig’.

A veteran performer at village and community days he collects his own audiences and holds them spellbound with his stories. At festivals listeners return year after year to hear him.

I hand screen print our own all-over designs on to cotton t-shirts and clothing, organic where possible.  They’re unique images, crafted on home produced screens and using water-based inks.
